Why "secure" isn't one thing
Every mainstream chat app claims to be private. The differences that actually matter are how messages are stored, what metadata leaks, and how the app behaves on unstable networks and mixed-language keyboards. SIRR was built in the Gulf for the Gulf: Arabic-first, zero-trace by default, and audited against the same AES-256 bar as the global leaders.

What "zero-trace" means in practice
SIRR does not keep a permanent copy of your messages after delivery. Media is encrypted with a per-message key, delivered, and then purged from our servers. Even under a lawful request, there is no plaintext archive to hand over — because we never held one.
Signal takes a similar stance on metadata via sealed sender. Telegram, by contrast, stores cloud chats on its servers in a form it can read — convenient, but a different threat model.
Built for MENA, not translated for it
Arabic is not a bolt-on in SIRR. The UI, the fonts, the number formatting, and the marketplace all run in true right-to-left with Naskh typography and SAR pricing. Voice notes, camera filters, and product discovery are tuned for Gulf audiences instead of shipped from a US template.
Which app should you use?
- Choose Signal if you want the gold-standard open-source protocol and nothing else — no marketplace, no camera suite.
- Choose Telegram if you prioritize channels and huge group chats and are comfortable with cloud storage.
- Choose SIRR if you want the same AES-256 bar as Signal, plus an Arabic-first experience, a curated private marketplace, and a zero-trace policy by default.
